With the end of war in Bosnia he moved to Dubrovnik, Croatia. There he met a saxophone player Jaksa Jordes,
a prolific player on Croatian music scene. Jaksa pursueded Mario to move to Zagreb in 1996, where he has started
professional career as musician. Since then Mario has been session player and member of many important Croatian bands....

In 2012 he released his debut album as bandleader called "Milje" (Miles), under Croatia Records label.
The album is a mixture of traditional balkan music, jazz and fusion. Mario has also formed a new band
consisting of few of the finest Croatian musicians: Marko Krizan - saxophone, Viktor Lipic - keyboards,
Miroslav Lehpamer - drums. Croatian music website Muzika.hr mentiones "Milje" as one of the top ten 2012
